This is another one of places to go where we know the food will turn out good. We had dinner here on Sunday with our parents.
One thing that we usually order here is the Stingray. We always have it ‘half-half’, meaning half of it spicy and the other non-spicy. Tonight’s stingray was particularly meaty and soft. We liked it, especially the parts that had the sambal. 😉
Sis loves this, so it’s also something we usually order. Something that very messy to prepare at home. We also had herbal chicken, you can only see the foil in the background of this photo. We forgot to take a photo! haha…
The sizzling plate tofu. Very zhi-char food. Do you realize when ordering tofu, people usually order this?
Their pork chops are really tender.
We wondered for a while what they used to tenderize it, but decided, enjoy your food.
You can almost guess right? Half of the time, people eating Zhi Char orders ‘Sambal Kangkong’.
We had a good dinner, enjoyed the food and the company as well.
But the initial waiting time might be long if you go during peak hours. Everyone seems to like to come here.
