For people who works in NUS or the nearby science parks and research institutes, you can get cheaper food by by visiting the various NUS Canteens. If I am at the Engineering Canteen, my fav store is the Jap stall.
It’s almost automatic, I always order Gyu Don (Beef Rice) from this store. $3.50

holiday coming, not sure if you are going to have cheap food during this perioud though…anyway I think the ex-arts canteen jap food seems nicer.

Engineering canteen changed a lot, now even got Jap food :OAnd this beef rice is so cheap…look at the generous servings of beef.
