Din Tai Fung @ Raffles City

A very warm welcome to those who went to the Food blogging discussion at the Arts House today. It was great seeing you all there.

If you wish, you can join me in my online ‘food diary’ daily. 🙂

——-

After the talk, sis and I went over to Raffles City to meet a ‘workaholic’ friend for dinner. This guy with a PhD in economics goes in to work everyday! Errr….

Anyway, wanted something Chinese for dinner, we ended up at Din Tai Fung. Hey, if you go early, there’s no queue! Wait was only 2 minute for them to set up the table.

We always like this appetizer dish. It’s some vegetarian thingy, but it smells so good and taste yummy too. (I think we like the smell of sesame oil haha…)

Zha Jiang Mian. No, not the korean ones though.

Sweet and Sour Soup. (Suan La Tang)
If you want it sour, I think you got to add more of your own vinegar in.

Dumplings in Red Vinegar and Chilli. We like this.

Dou Miao and Prawns as the Veg dish. There’s very few veg this in this place.

What is Din Tai Fung famous for? Xiao Long Bao.
Our dear friend had the soup squirted on his shirt while trying to eat it.
So, we had to like tell him the proper way of eating it. 🙂

Hope you all had a good weekend!
