Some of you got it spot on! It’s Rojak! I love the ‘you tiao’ inside it!
This is Bak Kut Teh, sorry picture a bit blur :-p It’s the peppery type.
Mee Siam. This is what I had. The ‘tau jiu’ taste is very strong š
This is Satay Bee Hoon.
The Yong Tau Foo Laksa.
There you go, a few of the most well loved local food of Singapore, all in one place.
yeah! I got it right! What’s the prize?
hmmm let me think of a price first. haha..
keropoman…since u r in sg… can you do a review of lamb bak kut teh? …there’s one in china town.. opens in the evening. I loved it when i ate it.. but dunno still nice or not.
I love rojak and get it frequently at the Malaysian restaurants in NYC. I also love the “jew hu eng chai” (squid and water spinach).>>My cousins in Singapore always buy fresh corn (not frozen) and ang ku kuih (red turtle cake) — moji skin with mung bean paste from Malaysia.
The clear soup peppery bak kut teh! Yum yum! Ahem, I also know how to make that mee siam coz I’m one loyal user…muahahahaa. And the laksa…I just cooked it without the yong tau foo :O>Satay bee hoon – my next target! If I can get “ju heer” (cuttlefish) ;p
Wah…looks very da good man….Maybe you can send some over. I’ll give you my address…..Got it? Thanks!
