Few days ago, Sis, Momo and I visited ION for the first time. Oh, the place was so so crowded, it was impossible to find a place to eat! Even Taste Paradise on the fourth floor was fully booked!
We thought we would just go next door to Wisma Atria to have dinner, thinking there will be less people there. We were wrong! There’s a spillover of people from ION. We decided we shall just wait for our turn at Din Tai Fung. We were too tired to walk around anymore.
After the around 20 min wait, our chopsticks just picked the starter dishes when it arrived. (Too hungry to take photos! haha)
After eating the starters and a whole big steamer of Xiao Long Bao, we were more energized and I have strength to take out the camera. LOL…
Here’s the other things we ate:
Steamer of Steamed Vegetables and Pork Dumplings.
This is something special. We were not interested in ordering it initially, but the ‘super sales lady’ said it’s this month’s special and if you don’t try it, you might not get it anymore. You might regret! Also, there’s a discount if you use your Citibank card. So we ordered it.
Can you see the chilli crab sauce? It gives our an orangy glow to the skin.
OK, it’s not too bad. No regrets ordering it. It’s a taste experience. LOL.
It’s sort of like eating crabs without needing to crack the shells etc…
We shared the Minced Pork noodles / Zha Jiang Mian. We always like this. It’s ever so appetizing.
Pork Chop noodles. I like the pork chop but not the noodles. 🙂
But the two ladies like the noodles. Different people, different taste buds.
The queue seems to be forever very long. So when you wanna eat here, send someone to get a queue number first 😉
