This was sometime last week. We had one of the lunches where the portions are so small, you get hungry by 3pm!
One colleague brought out from his mini fridge “the fruit cake”. It’s made by his mum and he had poured like so much alcohol inside to ‘preserve’ it. Here it is, unwrapped from the layers of plastic and aluminium foil.
Each time we eat it, we can only eat 2 or 3 pieces of it. It’s too rich!
I think fruit cakes eaten cold is nice. My mum makes them and we store them in our freezer and cut and eat them when we feel like it. Looks like many mums makes good fruit cakes.
Does anyone likes fruit cakes too?
