We had the opportunity to have dinner last weekend at Aunt’s again. Here’s what we had:
Xiao Bai Cai stir fried with garlic.
Deep fried meat rolls. Great with Thai Chilli sauce.
This is the ‘bomber chicken drumlets’. Kids and kids at heart like us enjoy eating this.
You got to tediously scrape the meat to one corner marinate it and deep fry it. Took this photo while it was being drained of the remaining oil in the kitchen.
Stir fried asparagus with seafood. Yummy.
Streaky pork belly (san chen rou) that’s been coated with flour and deep fried. Can you guess what dish is this going to end up as?
Sweet and Sour Pork with pomegranate.
Streaky pork makes this dish taste nicer. Lean meat makes it less tasty.
Of course you can’t eat this all the time 😉
For soup, we had Bak Kut Teh.
Pork Ribs with quail eggs.
The kids have juices, the adults had ice wine.
Have a good weekend to all!
